I’m Evelyn, the Comic Canary, a third-generation nerd who has transformed my lifelong passion into a profession and a way of life. Through this website, I aim to share my work, resources, and promote the love of all things nerd and geek.

But beyond the costumes, comics, and conventions — I’m also proudly pansexual, disabled, and plus-size. Representation isn’t just important to me — it’s at the heart of everything I do. I believe that fandom spaces should be welcoming, diverse, and empowering for everyone.

As a cosplayer, model, speaker, and podcaster, I use my platform to celebrate creativity, promote body positivity, and advocate for inclusivity across all aspects of geek culture. Whether I’m crafting a detailed costume, stepping in front of the camera, or sharing stories from the world of comics and sci-fi, I’m passionate about creating space for people to show up exactly as they are.

Outside of the con scene, I also work in animal care and conservation education — combining my love for wildlife with my drive to make a positive impact in the world.
